Workstations

Our workbench was designed so you can focus on your work, while still being close enough to Vicki and other artists so you can share ideas. Each station includes a minor burner, ventilation hood, quick-release regulators, and an adjustable chair. Students and renters have free access to kilns, mandrels, basic tools, and goggles, plus a wide selection of soda-lime (COE 104) glass for purchase.

Safety & Comfort

A powerful ventilation system keeps air clean and noise low. Propane tanks are securely stored outside behind protective barriers. The studio is air-conditioned throughout the summer. Our 24 ft table provides each flameworker with a generous 4 ft of personal working space. These features make the studio both safe and comfortable for lampworkers at all levels.
