You’ll be able to send it directly to the recipient, email it to yourself (and then share it however you like), or print it out and present it in person.
3. The Recipient Redeems the Certificate
Each certificate has a defined purpose. If the recipient uses it online, they merely enter the certificate’s unique code when they complete their purchase. Certificates also can be redeemed at the studio.

Common questions about gift certificates

The class covers all instruction, tools, and kiln time. If the recipient wants their finished piece shipped instead of picking it up, there’s a small additional fee for packing and shipping.

Not at all! If the recipient doesn’t have experience at the torch, purchase a certificate for a beginner class or private coaching. These sessions are designed for novices so anyone can jump in and create.

They’ll receive instructions with the gift certificate. They can reach out to schedule a time by calling or texting Vicki at 716-481-5664. Classes are generally held seven days a week starting between 11:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Just themselves! Special safety goggles, tools, aprons, and glass are provided. Closed-toe shoes and clothing made primarily from natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool) are recommended. Students should tie back long hair and avoid wearing dangling jewelry on hands, wrists, or neck.

In order to provide close supervision and personalized instruction, Vicki generally limits class size to one to two people. Should you wish to bring three people, please contact us, and we will work with you to find a mutual convenient time. A three-person class costs $225.

Vicki prides herself in providing close personal attention and instruction to ensure each student’s safety and success. Unfortunately, there’s not enough time to teach each beginning student a different project in an introductory class. If you enjoy your experience, you’re welcome to sign up for another beginner class to build your skills and confidence. Once you are able to work confidently and safely at the torch, you can rent studio time to practice what you’ve learned and pursue your own designs and projects.

When an individual wants to learn to create something other than the five projects offered in our beginner classes, they can schedule a private coaching session with Vicki. Two people may sign up for a joint coaching session when they are both working on the same skill set or project. Coaching sessions are typically held when someone needs to overcome an obstacle they’re experiencing or wants to move onto a more complex project, such as marbles or flowers. More about Coaching
