The bead design I am working on was drawn by 10-year-old Oscar Colunga, Jr (an honored sibling from Parkland Health and Hospital System in Texas). Each multicolored and fully helmeted bear is about 2" tall. The Teddy Bear Astronaut beads are available for sale at the incredibly low price of $25. This is BOC's first Bead Design Challenge. Children representing 10 hospitals across the country participated. There will also be a book published with pictures of all 10 beads.
