CANCELLATION PROVISIONS
Bringing in a guest artist is a wonderful opportunity, yet it is financially risky for a studio, especially a small one like ours. As a result we have established the following cancellation policy.

For cancellations by participant received in writing on or before August 31, 2018
We will retain your $150 deposit and refund the remainder of the amount you paid,
if any, within 30 days of receiving your written notice of cancellation.

For cancellations by participant received in writing on or after September 1, 2018:
If we fill your seat with another student, we will retain your $150 deposit
and refund the remainder of the amount you paid, if any, within 30 days of
    filling the seat.

If your seat remains vacant, your entire fees are non-refundable.

Exceptions to these policies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 Cancellation by Expressive Glass
Expressive Glass reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule
classes and workshops, or to change class instructors when necessary.
If Expressive Glass cancels, reschedules a class or workshop, or
changes instructors for any reason, all registered participants will be
informed as soon as possible and extended the opportunity to transfer to
    another class.

NOTE: If a participant chooses not to attend a rescheduled class,
Expressive Glass will fully refund the tuition and fees by check within 30
    days of the cancellation.

STUDIO LOCATION
Classes are held at our six-year-old studio approximately 10 miles south of the City of Buffalo, NY. We think you will find our studio welcoming and comfortable. Click here for our location and directions to the studio.

EQUIPMENT & SET UP
Each station is equipped with a Minor burner with a dedicated propane and oxygen regulator and a hood. Students may bring their own torches as long as they have "B" fittings or quick releases. Please let us know if you are planning to bring your own torch so we can ensure adequate converters.

CLOTHING
Dress in layers. Plan for Buffalo weather. To provide adequate ventilation, windows may be open and the heating and air conditioning unit may not keep the studio at an ideal temperature. Please wear 80-100% cotton or wool clothing (synthetics melt if touched by hot glass), tie back long hair, wear closed toe shoes, and no loose jewelry.

FOOD & DRINK
Participants are encouraged to keep themselves hydrated. The studio will provide free water. You may bring your own non-alcoholic beverages. There are several delis, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby.

The studio has a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker which students are welcome to use.

We typically order lunch from local restaurants and have it delivered to the studio.  We will keep track of your food-related expenses and collect the amount you owe at the end of class.

PARKING
The studio has 10 complimentary parking spots directly outside our door in our parking lot.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Western New York offers many sites worth exploring. Why not add a day or two to your trip and visit Niagara Falls, the Darwin Martin HouseGraycliff, and the Rowing Boathouse all designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Albright Knox Art Gallery, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, or take a cruise on Lake Erie or the Erie Canal

FOOD & LODGING
There are a number of hotels/motels and a range of eating establishments within 5 miles of the studio. Oma's Guest Haus has received great reviews from past participants and is just across the street.
